Sayres is seeking an Amphibious Mission System Support - Engineering Technician (Mid) with Secret Clearance located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

This position includes:

  • Provide program technical support to the HM&E APM with extensive military ship systems familiarization, and Amphibious Mission Systems and Amphibious Operations.
  • Interface with the System Engineering Manager and Subject Matter Expert for Mission Systems.
  • Responsible for various HM&E technical evaluation efforts related to Well Deck, Flight Deck, and Vehicle Deck operations.
  • Responsible for various HM&E technical evaluation efforts related to davits, cranes, ordnance stowage and handling, cargo handling, and small boat operations assigned by the Program Office HM&E APM.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

  • 7-14 years' experience in providing engineering support.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

  • Experience with DoD/Navy ACAT I Program
  • 7+ years relevant experience in providing engineering support for Amphibious Mission systems and operations, HM&E systems to U.S. Navy shipbuilding Program Office(s)/ operational ships.
  • Active Secret Clearance verifiable in JPAS.
