Responsibilities

Sayres is seeking a Test and Evaluation Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Professional Support Services contract in support of DoD Customer in Washington DC / Northern Virginia area.   

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Advise, assist, and manage the planning, scheduling and monitoring of test program across multiple DoD programs.
  • Provide timely feedback of test results to inform DoD decision makers and assist with the system engineering processes.
  • Support the development and update of key test and evaluation documents such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), test plans, test reports, and test readiness review briefing materials.
  • Must be able to apply and ensure compliance with DoD Development and Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E) requirements and processes (e.g., DoD Directive 50001.E1.11, DOT&E and TEMP Guidebook).
  • Develop guidance, draft and brief technical evaluations, and communicate on daily basis with senior government leaders (e.g., O-6, GS-15, O-5, GS-14).

Experience and Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related field.
  • Ten (10) or more years' experience managing, guiding and supporting analysis in support of government test and evaluation programs.
  • Active Secret Clearance verifiable in JPAS.

Desired:

  • Master's degree in technical or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience with management and leadership of hybrid cross functional test and evaluation teams in support of DoD customer.
