Sayres is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager and Security Administration Support Analyst for Sayres Intelligence and Information Services with a TOP SECRET clearance, verifiable in JPAS in Washington, DC.  


The assistant manager will support and report to Sayres VP, Intelligence and Information Services. The assistant manager will support all aspects of contract management administration for the current portfolio of support contracts.

The assistant manager's duties and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:

  • Assist the VP in the development and writing of required contract monthly reports to the customer.
  • Position tracking and recruiting administration.
  • Personnel administration actions.
  • Communications with contract managers.
  • Personnel HR request processing.
  • Timekeeping compliance actions.
  • Personnel training compliance.
  • Organizational chart updates.
  • Contract administration requirements.
  • Personnel database updates.
  • Maintain personnel resume database management and updates.
  • Assist in business development actions and administration.
  • Assist in proposal development and support actions.
  • Assist in presentation development.
  • Assist the VP in all aspects of day to day contract operations and administration of contract portfolios.

In addition, the assistant manager will be required to successfully train in all aspects of current Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) task requirements, field support operations, and become proficient in JPAS.

The assistant manager will start in the position at the Sayres corporate headquarters at 55 M Street SE, Suite 200, Washington, DC. The assistant manager will be required to work and train at least one day per week at the Russell Knox Building, Quantico, VA. starting at an undetermined date in the future.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, business, computer science, management, engineering, math and four years (4) of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, experience and demonstrated proficiency.
  • Proficiency using a variety of office equipment and machines such as: photocopiers, scanners, microfilm readers and printers, fax machines, etc.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and using more advanced applications in word processing, spreadsheet, Excel, and graphics.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and work in a team environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple taskings.
  • Ability to achieve quickly changing suspense dates.
  • Must possess, or be able to successfully obtain, an ACTIVE Top Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
