Sayres is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Analyst with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in JPAS in Washington, DC.  

Responsibilities:

In support of the PMS 501/LCS contract, the Acquisition Program Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in contract management functions as directed.
  • Provide programmatic and acquisition support to PMS 501D and program office as directed.
  • Specific functions include, but not limited to: strategic communications, development of briefs, white papers, talking points.
  • Research and develop responses to PEO/Command, DON and Congressional data calls, support public affairs review and develop communications products on behalf of 501D and/or PMS 501.
  • Collaborate with personnel across the organization to ensure accuracy and consistency of data/message, perform acquisition and operational program research to provide PMS 501 with background information as necessary to prepare for meetings, brief and reports.

 Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience.
  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
  • Experience with managing contract procurement activities in a DOD ACAT 1 environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Requests for Proposals, proposal reviews, and Award Fee / Incentive Fee Evaluations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to work short timelines in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
