Sayres is seeking a Senior Analyst with active Secret security clearance, verifiable in JPAS.

Position is located in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities, Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Responsibilities

  • Review, revise, update, and provide comments and recommendations to DODAF views for programs utilizing a Government agreed to toolset. These views may include Operational View (OV), Systems View (SV), and Technical Standards View (TV) documents.
  • Provide written comments and recommendations for regarding the DoD Verification, Validation & Accreditation (VV&A) process. Provide written recommendations, guidelines, templates and standards for Modeling and Simulation (M&S) VV&A activities.
  • Provide recommendations, guidelines, briefings, reports, meeting notes and templates for M&S best practices including cost-benefit tools, standards information, data exchange techniques, authoritative data, and architectures.
  • Integrate System of Systems Engineering (SoSE) tools and practices with modeling and simulation, testing, programmatic, workflow, and data management tools to enable effective Model Based Systems Engineering.
  • Provide technical recommendations for system development and sustainment to adequately address Naval Warfare System Certification Process (NWSCP) requirements by providing Engineering Studies and Analysis reports.

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in either Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Physical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics from an accredited college or university or a bachelor's degree in a business area.
  • Require ten years of experience in military systems analysis (including cost and schedule analysis), modeling and simulation.
  • Experience with the Navy's Naval Warfare System Certification (NWSCP) process, combat system certification process and new ship construction (SCN) planning processes and the application of these processes to Program of Record (POR) schedule and cost estimates.
  • Experience with CBRN doctrine, CONOPS, and TTPs.
  • Secret security clearance.
