Sayres provides Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740) continued Syun An system Life Cycle Support (LCS) under Taiwan Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.


In support of PMW 740, the General Systems Engineer (Senior) will:

  • Provide engineering and logistics sustainment strategy recommendations to address materiel availability and to maintain operational readiness while minimizing the logistics footprint.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable processes and procedures to collect sustainment data to include reliability, maintainability, resources, and initial acquisition/sustainment cost.
  • Consider supply support, training, maintenance, transportation, sustaining engineering, DM, CM, Human Systems Integration (HSI), environment, safety, occupational health, protection of critical program information and anti-tamper provisions, supportability, and interoperability.
  • Conduct systems/system of systems architecture design, testing, implementation, integration, review, and certification activities.
  • Conduct data analyses, interpret, and summarize results
  • Conduct technical requirements definition / allocation
  • Develop technical documentation, to include test plans and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties.
  • Ability to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of drawing conclusions to address business problems.

Education, Work Experience, and Skills Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or Business Administration. A Bachelor's Degree with an additional 4 years of relevant experience can be substituted.
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with communications and computing architectures and associated documentation.
  • Experience with leveraging Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) development practices and using CAD tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project is desired
  • SECRET clearance
