The Engineer - Navy Program Support will be responsible for supporting a major Navy Shipbuilding program in the following capacity:

  • Directly support Navy Ship Design and Shock Subject Matter Experts in the identification, documentation, and tracking of items affecting (or in support of) shock certification.
  • Develop tools for efficient tracking and reporting of technical data that can be shared across a range of Navy users (capable of supporting presentation at leadership level and within a working technical team).
  • Communicate frequently across multiple disciplines and locations: technical, financial, civilian, and military to establish/assign actions, obtain status, and document resolution of issues related to obtaining shock certification.
  • Leverage an understanding of mechanical and shipboard systems to support the ability to investigate and resolve shock-related technical issues.

CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD AND GOVERNMENT FUNDING

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in an engineering capacity
  • Strong organization skills with an understanding on how to effectively track data and present to a range of customers/team members.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and at least rudimentary Access/Project).
  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS prior to start date.

Preferred:

  • Shipboard or NAVSEA shipbuilding program environment experience.
