ponsibilities

The Entry-Level Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst will support a Shipbuilding program and be responsible for the following:

  • Provide program appraisal support for the program.
  • Assist the Program Office in the coordination, monitoring, and analysis of the Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), Quarterly Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), and ASN (RD&S) Information System (RDAIS).
  • Manage the daily administration of DoD policies and procedures related to Earned Value Management.
  • Utilize demonstrated experience in, and knowledge of, performing Ship Construction Contractor and Subcontractor Engineering and Production Analysis, including but not limited to: 

    • Physical progress
    • Design progress and material procurement
    • Schedule and cost realism
    • EVM system compliance
    • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
    • Critical Path and Schedule Risk Assessment analyses
    • Relating production metrics to technical achievement, cost estimating, cost analysis, and Industrial Base Analysis

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of work experience which may include college internships.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective customer relations skills.
  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management a plus.
