The Mid-Level Front Office Support / Newsletter Coordinator will provide high-level support to the Program Manager (PM) and Deputy Program Manager (DPM) on-site at the shipbuilding program's Front Office. In addition to delivering essential administrative support, the individual will coordinate input and submissions among the shipbuilding program's departments in support of the development of a quarterly internal newsletter.


Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Liaise and work with the shipbuilders as a team effort.
  • Identify, collect, categorize, and submit new construction metric data for trend analysis and issue resolution.
  • Participate in meetings to include Weekly Production Meetings.
  • Validate ILS for equipment replacements/change-outs identified in the work item specification package.
  • Perform Class Schedule A and Schedule E PCA at the shipbuilder's facilities, Onboard Installation, and during PSA as required to document, at a minimum, the manufacturer's part number, CAGE Code, equipment serial number, and implemented changes.
  • Establish and maintain a database for the PCA configuration information and audit results.
  • Provide draft feedback, findings, and recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain GFE application to facilitate Combat Systems CM Certification efforts, including assistance to Navy CAMA and PEO IWS ACCESS information requirements.
  • Manage the receipt of GFM.
  • Prepare and provide material reports.
  • Monitor and track SRI and GUCL to ensure receipt and delivery to Sail-away ships through SCN OWLD.
  • Coordinate with the shipbuilder's warehouse personnel to track stowage and receipt and inventory of COSAL material to ensure warehouse/bin validation and turnover to the ship.
  • Maintain the shipbuilding historical outfitting data.
  • Receive and maintain INCO spares and INCO spares database and requisition data.
  • Prepare and expedite requisition documents.
  • Provide reports for INCO usage and failure data and advising the Government for INCO depth and range adjustments.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
  • Ability to provide program and/or financial management and analytical support including:

    • Project scheduling.
    • Data collection, metrics, and analysis.
    • Budget development and execution.
    • Updating and maintaining program plans and other related documentation.
    • Preparing meeting minutes, briefings, and other required reports.
    • Updating action item databases.
    • Coordinating and facilitating meetings.
  • Able to effectively communicate (orally and in writing) and interface with customers and other outside agencies.
  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.


  • Bachelor's degree.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience supporting a PM, DPM, or equivalent in a high-visibility, fast-paced Defense acquisition program.
