Responsibilities

The Post Delivery Analyst will support the PMS 501 Post Delivery Team and be responsible for the following:

  • Analyze processes, formulate process improvement recommendations, and analyze technical/programmatic information to ensure a smooth operation of the organization, shipyard locations, or other projects.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain complex paperwork and forms.
  • Safeguard business sensitive information, track and deliver time constraint and recurrent tasks using highly sensitive records, information, and data received on a constant basis.
  • Review administrative and technical documentation for format, editorial, and subject-matter accuracy and clarity.
  • Attend meetings and prepare notes and/or meeting minutes.
  • Responsible for the management and tracking of contractor and government field activity's Task Planning Sheets, including the monitoring of funding sent and available at each activity.  
  • Interface with PMS 501 financial personnel to ensure they have necessary information for funding document creation and are able to initiate the transfer within ERP.  It will also include, but not be limited to, the follow up with the contractors and field activities to ensure funds reached the correct site, progressing the steps for the Navy customer in detailed reporting, and follow up as necessary with the activities to track spending versus funds available.
  • Employ working knowledge of BPS, STARS, and ERP to facilitate discussions with the customer and other Navy field activities in the funding of required operations, which will include developing a working knowledge of the operations and requirements for the LCS Ships to actively monitor field activity spending with regard to budgeted amount.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Navy acquisition and contracting practices to assist the Navy in the management of Shipyard production.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years related experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Client/customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must have extensive knowledge in preparing, processing and maintaining complex paperwork and forms.
  • Dependable in safeguarding business sensitive information, tracking and delivering time constraint and recurrent tasks using highly sensitive records, information and data received on a constant basis.
  • Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS prior to start date.

Preferred:

  • Prior Military background.
  • Government support contractor experience.
  • NAVSEA Program Office, Post Delivery support experience.
  • Experience auditing government documents, contractor TPS, and working knowledge of BPS, STARS, and ERP.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Contract Documentation, experience reading contract data, and familiarity with NAVSEA financial tools.
