The Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Research, Development, Acquisition (RDA), Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide the experience of a CI SME Specialist in RDA, DCIP, and SCRM for program support work.
  • Conduct internal CI/CE activities to DIA Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP), DIA Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), and DIA Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA) in response to Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIEs).
  • Conduct CI protective activities to protect DIA based on finished analytical products and other threat data.
  • Research and understand FIE threats to DIA RDA, DCIP, SCRM programs, personnel, and facilities in order to implement protective countermeasures and CI activities to negate the threat.
  • Plan and develop CI Support Plans and CI Coverage plans.
  • Plan and conduct,
    • CI Support to DIA DCIP according to DoDI 5240.19 and DIA policies.
    • CI Support to DIA RDA LAW DoDI 5240.24 and DIA policies.
    • CI Support to DIA SCRM JAW DoDI 5240.24 and DIA policies.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from an accredited Counterintelligence Special Agent credentialing school and be able to produce the certificate.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in conducting RDA, DCIP, SCRM and related threat capabilities posed by Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE).
  • Successfully completed the JCITA CI Functional Services Course or JCITA's former CI Support to Research, Development and Acquisitions Course or a related course from an IC agency.
  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
