The Financial Analyst will support the PMW 740 Program Office with the following:

  • Business, financial management, and administrative services.
  • Developing spend plans and budget-related products.
  • Providing program funding execution and financial reporting to the finance team.
  • Serving as the financial execution manager by updating and submitting monthly execution reports, spend plans and various Excel reports as needed.
  • Conducting cost analysis and providing detailed reports regarding the financial status of the program.
  • Reviewing, monitoring, and assisting the Program Office to determine the funds are executed properly.
  • Monitoring commitments, obligations, expenditures and workload analysis with Field Activities to ensure that financial accounts are balanced using Navy ERP system.

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (in Business, Finance or related field) or equivalent and 3 years of related financial management experience in Defense Industry/Department of the Navy.
  • Familiarity /Experience with acquisition in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Working knowledge of Navy financial processes and information systems including:  STARS, AutoDoc, COBRA, PRISMS, EDA and Navy ERP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with pivot tables and formula functions for data manipulation.
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance verifiable in JPAS.

Highly Desired:

  • Recent Financial Management experience at SPAWAR / PEO C4I.
  • Experience working with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Management Cases.
