Responsibilities

Sayres & Associates is seeking Anti-Terrorism Specialists to support Agency planning against Anti-Terrorism (AT) to include risk management, planning, training and exercises, resource application, and program reviews. The Specialist will be responsible for the following:

  1. Interpret government regulations and applicable codes and advise government management on the best course of action to ensure compliance.
  2. Develop programs, procedures, and contingency plans based on a risk approach and propose solutions that monitor, evaluate, and enable resolution to safeguard the workforce, reduce property loss, and support mission continuity.
  3. Oversee the development, integration, and exercising of AT plans and policy.
  4. Prepare and conduct briefings and overviews to educate Agency personnel and submit positions and information papers in response to government requirements.
  5. Provide strategic direction, vision and leadership, and effectively demonstrate expertise in providing solutions and recommendations based on internal and external factors.
  6. Monitor planning and exercises, assess plan effectiveness, and recommend plan enhancements to improve responses to emergencies.
  7. Remain cognizant of national and DNI policies and provide expertise as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  8. Provide strategic direction by leading activities in support of team and enterprise objectives.

This is a regular full-time position (1st Shift) with less than 10% travel and no relocation. Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' work experience or equivalent experience related to the job description.
  2. TS/SCI or the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Preferred:  

  1. Certification from FEMA for Incident Command Systems training.
  2. Security Engineering Course.
  3. Professional Continuity Planner.
  4. DOD Security Engineering Course.
  5. DOD Vulnerability Assessment Course.
