Sayres & Associates is seeking qualified Graphic Designer/Visualization Specialists to support a government customer. The Graphic Designer/Visualization Specialist will be responsible for the following:

  1. Create visual concepts using computer software, or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
  2. Design graphics and communique to relay strategy and business objectives, as well as branding.
  3. Tasks may include the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, fact sheets, presentations, or even digital reader boards.
  4. Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of websites and printed pages.
  5. Use a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects.
  6. Demonstrate verbal communication in order to collaborate with and provide feedback to customers and peers on how images and text will go together on a print or webpage.
  7. Collaborate closely with authors who choose the words and decide how best to display language and data, all within customer guidelines and parameters.
  8. Transform statistical data or metrics, through the use of images, text, and color, into visual graphics and diagrams which can make complex ideas more accessible. 

This is a regular full-time position (1st Shift) with less than 10% travel and no relocation. Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor's degree and eight to thirteen years' work experience or equivalent experience.
  2. Possess detailed knowledge of the full functionality of graphic design software like Adobe Master Collection CS5, and the designing of products for printing on digital press and web.
  3. Experience in developing and implementing creative visual and strategic solutions from scientific presentations to websites to online productivity tools.
  4. Familiarity with GEOINT products and production.
  5. Familiar with Curious Maps and Animation Software, as well as SQL, HTML, and Flash.
  6. Proficiency with SharePoint.
  7. TS/SCI or the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
