Sayres & Associates is seeking Planning, Policy and Business Analysts to advise and assist with strategic planning, policy, and business analysis. The Planning, Policy and Business Analyst will be responsible for the following:

    1. Support development of government mission and vision statements.
    2. Perform trade studies and assess trades between functionality and security risk management.
    3. Develop process improvement recommendations and facilitates quality improvement efforts.
    4. Translates operation requirements and mission needs into technical terminology and specifications.
    5. Formulate internal and external policy.
    6. Provide assessments and recommendations of new policies or changes.
    7. Develop, apply, and validate operational metrics and performance risk assessments.
    8. Advise on planning, design, reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, buildings, and facilities dedicated to the geospatial intelligence enterprise.
    9. Assist the Government in establishing goal and objectives related to their mission and value statements, policies and/or other requirements/operating concepts.
    10. Support studies and assessments and gather information to synthesize functional needs. 

This is a regular full-time position (1st Shift) with less than 10% travel and no relocation. Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor's degree and five to fourteen years' work experience or equivalent.
  2. Experience as a primary author of mission and vision statements, policy or requirement's statements or documents or operating concepts.
  3. Experience leading teams in developing policy or requirement's statements or documents with varying levels of responsibility.
  4. TS/SCI or the ability to obtain TS/SCI.


  1. Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  2. Ability to interact with department leadership/managers.
