Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the following.

  1. Operate financial management systems such as: Invoicing, Receipt, and Acceptance and Property Transfer (iRAPT), SABRS, NHS, Cerberus, and A-FID.
  2. Analyze, reconcile, and provide financial reporting for all commitments, obligations, expenditures, Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), and Negative Unliquidated Obligations.
  3. Provide assistance in the preparation and maintenance of obligation phasing and spend plans, briefings, presentations, and task planning reviews.
  4. Perform detailed tracking and reporting of financial data in response to the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) mandated Tri-Annual Review (TAR).
  5. Respond to internal and external inquiries and requests for program information; provide detailed reports regarding the financial status of the program.
  6. Review, monitor, and assist the Program Officer in determining the funds are executed properly; monitor expenditures, to ensure that financial accounts are balanced.
  7. Prepare briefing slides, reports, and analytical data as required.
  8. Follow internal guidelines and business processes that relate to day-to-day operations and financial management support.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor's degree in related field.
  2. 5 years experience in DoD Financial Management. 
  3. Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
  4. Ability to use financial management systems such as: Invoicing, Receipt, and Acceptance and Property Transfer (iRAPT), SABRS, NHS, Cerberus, and A-FID.
  5. Ability to follow internal guidelines and business processes that relate to day-to-day operations and financial management support.
  6. FMS Financial Management preferred.
  7. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  8. Must be detail oriented and organized.
  9. Secret clearance verifiable in JPAS.
