Responsibilities

In support of the DDG 51 program, the Production Data Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  1. Provide production management analysis, based on historical information, identifying ship production trends, forecasts, and the status of ship production progress.
  2. Gather data from Government databases and ship construction deliverables and use the data to develop analyses of production issues.
  3. Coordinate and prepare Ship Program Review (SPR) briefs, Trials and Delivery briefs, Quarterly Execution Reviews (QERs), and other presentations.
  4. Review production-related deliverables under the Ship Construction contracts for accuracy and contractual compliance and provide results to the responsible DDG 51 Class Data Monitor.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma and at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
  2. Experience with the following:
    1. Planning, scheduling, conducting or coordinating detailed phases of engineering related tasks.
    2. Applying knowledge and experience with financial and production principles and techniques to develop complex specifications and procedures, developing and analyzing designs, and evaluating technical information.
    3. Performing technical studies and analyses in surface combatant shipbuilding.
     3.  Able to effectively communicate and interface with customers, stakeholders, 
          and industry personnel.
     4.  Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
