The On-site Program Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide on-site waterfront program support services to include: Team management; administrative services; logistical support; shipboard training; technical assistance; event planning and support; and shipboard information technology (IT) services support.

  • Provide overall managerial control and technical services as directed by the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer Representative in support of Administrative, Personnel, Engineering, Logistical tasks and shipboard evolution planning and support as required.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 20 years program management experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience or related experience in surface ships to include administration, training, personnel management, engineering, and logistics.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in support of surface ship operations to include one of more of the following tasks: administration, training, personnel management, engineering, and/or logistics
  • Expert working knowledge of NAVSEA program management practices.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership in writing and presentations.
  • Proven leadership ability to lead and manage a service-oriented support staff in all aspects of shipboard personnel administration, training, and related operations.


  • SECRET security clearance verified in JPAS.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Shipyard experience in a leadership position.
