Qualifications and Requirements

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:

Sayres & Associates is looking for a part-time Intelligence Instructor for Law Enforcement who meets the following qualifications:

  1. Former and retired Federal Officers (e.g. DEA/FBI and other qualified applicants) conversant on such topics as illicit narcotics interdiction, disruption of drug trafficking organizations, intelligence and analysis, narco-terrorism, homeland security, civil operations, and anti-drug coalition and analysis.
  2. Bachelor's (relevant) degree.
  3. Minimum 10 years of experience working in law enforcement or intelligence.
  4. Demonstrated experience briefing and instructing law enforcement officers on current law enforcement intelligence concepts, processes and functions consistent with the National Criminal Intelligence Sharing Plan (NCISP).
  5. Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in basic and advanced level intelligence functions and operations.
  6. Experience teaching or consulting on basic and advanced level intelligence functions and operations.

Strongly Desired:

  1. Instructional Design Experience.
  2. Certified instructor.

 

BENEFITS:

  1. Employees are provided labor, Per Diem expenses (airfare, lodging, and miscellaneous and incidentals).
  2. The majority of training will be conducted at the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC) located at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center (CDJMTC) in Johnston, Iowa. The MCTC service area covers the 54 states and territories, and class iterations may be conducted at any location within this area. Approximately 1/3 of the course iterations are conducted at the MCTC main campus at Camp Dodge, Johnson, Iowa and the remaining are conducted at other locations within the United States and territories.
