The mission of Commander Naval Surface Pacific N411 is to support the Commander Naval Surface Forces and the Pacific Combatant Commanders by providing responsive, relevant, sustainable Ordnance logistics support services and supply management for Naval Operational Forces (NOF) ready-for-tasking. Naval Surface Pacific N411 has the responsibility for organization, equipping, and maintaining Naval forces to generate required and sustainable levels of current and future Ordnance readiness.

The Senior Ordnance Logistics Analyst and Consultant will process the following for N411:

  • Non-Combat Expenditure Allocation (NCEA) augments
  • Ammunition Change Requests (ACR)
  • CNSF/CNSP Command Instructions
  • CNSF/CNSP policy messages
  • Periodic Lot Reports (PLR's)
  • NAVSUP Inventory Review Reports (NIRR)
  • CNSF/CNSP Force Ordnance newsletters
  • Shipboard Explosive Safety Inspection (SESI) extensions and waivers
  • Initial Qualification/Certification letters
  • CNSF/CNSP working group briefings and supporting document


This position description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this position.  The incumbents may be requested to perform position-related tasks other than those stated in this description.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Recent experience in computer ordnance analysis, military policy on ordnance programs, ordnance allocation procedures, conventional ordnance management, ordnance transportation instructions, and ordnance inventory accuracy. Specific experience required is working experience with Torpedo maintenance policies and Sonobuoy shelf-life procedures.
  • Recent experience in reviewing Shipboard Explosives Safety Inspection (SESI) extension requests, SESI results, maintaining inspection reports, historical database, and providing reference documentation.
  • Recent experience in coordinating with Ordnance Item Managers and Ammunition Support personnel to fill ordnance requisitions and provide Maintenance Due Date extensions as required on missiles, torpedoes and countermeasures.
  • Recent experience in providing guidance to ships on ordnance management accounting actions as appropriate concerning extensions and sentencing ammunition in accordance with Ordnance Management Policy and Conventional Ordnance Stockpile Management Policy and Procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite products.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science and/or mathematics. As a substitute, recent experience in ammunition accounting via a computer ordnance management system such as Conventional Ammunition Integrated Management System (CAIMS), Ordnance Information System (OIS) or Retail Ordnance Logistics Management System (ROLMS) programs. Training related to the "degree substitute" provided at Navy/USMC schools indicating Ammunition Supply Administration.
  • The Navy considers "recent" experience to be experience acquired within the last 5 years.
