Responsibilities

The Project Production Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  1. Support the DDG 1000 Program Manager's Representative with production management and technical analysis of ship construction, test, and integration processes.
  2. Identify and evaluate shipyard production metrics relative to ship construction and system testing.
  3. Monitor the production progress and interface with shipyard production and test personnel regarding Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) issues.
  4. Liaise with shipyard management/personnel and government management/personnel.
  5. Conduct onboard change verification ship checks, validating change completion.
  6. Crew support post Crew Move Aboard, to include but not limited to, COSAL Loadout, LTT, and LOA events.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. High school diploma or equivalent AND at least one year of shipbuilding experience.
  2. Familiarity with surface ship design and construction operations.
  3. Knowledge of ship delivery processes, post-delivery work package development, and Post Shakedown Availability (PSA) planning and execution.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred:  

  1. Bachelor's degree (no specified field).
  2. Technical and production deficiency management experience.
  3. Experience with integration testing and trials, including deficiency management, corrective action tracking, and engineering change management processes.
  4. Familiarity with engineering and production design products.
  5. Experience with teamcenter drawing search/retrieval.
  6. Knowledge of change paperwork and planning products
