Responsibilities

Sayres and Associates supports the Marine Corps System Command with program management expertise by providing support to a USMC combat systems program. As a part of that support, the SharePoint Developer will be responsible for the following:

  1. Create and update existing workflows and templates within the SharePoint Portal.
  2. Manage all SharePoint site content and development, monitor specific SharePoint site collections on a daily basis, and ensure consistency, functionality, and applicability of all SharePoint sites.
  3. Maintain currency of information for each PM collection site.
  4. Manage permissions per Government requests and approval.
  5. Identify and investigate errors and escalate issues as needed.
  6. Gather requirements and provide solutions to increase productivity.
  7. Create and restore SharePoint sites from backups.
  8. Conduct training through classrooms, one-on-one sessions, or through user guides and videos.
  9. Ensure technical staff and site managers adhere to policies.
  10. Document requirements and create functional and technical specifications, test plans, and system and user documentation.
  11. Collaborate with the team and leadership to provide site enhancements and improvements in accordance with business processes.

 

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements:  

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Programming OR a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience AND any combination of Microsoft SharePoint, Coras Works, JavaScript, jQuery, InfoPath, Excel Services, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL Programming or other programming languages.
  2. Minimum two (2) year's of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010/2013.
  3. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  5. Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
  6. Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred:

         Experience with working in support of a Marine Corps Systems Command Program.
